Otway Pure takes its name and its philosophy from this spirit. We believe the best food comes from the best sources — untouched, unprocessed, and honestly presented.

Our oat products are sourced from the Bordertown golden grain belt, located at the junction of South Australia and Victoria (latitude 35.5°S, longitude 140.5°E). This region's unique combination of Mediterranean climate, rich red soil, extended sunlight hours, and optimal rainfall creates ideal conditions for growing premium-grade oats. Our supply partner is aligned with CBH — Australia's largest grain handler and a cooperative with over 4,000 grain-growing members.

Every batch of Otway Pure oats passes through 57 quality checkpoints from field to finished product. The oats are harvested once per year, stored in their natural husked form, and only milled and processed when needed — ensuring maximum freshness. Our physical milling combined with low-temperature roasting preserves the oat's natural flavour, nutrients, and importantly, the bran layer where 95% of the dietary fibre resides.

Our yellowfin tuna is sourced from FAO Area 71 — the Western Central Pacific — widely regarded as the world's premier tuna fishing ground. The warm, nutrient-rich waters far from industrial zones produce tuna with exceptional flesh quality: firm texture, high protein, rich Omega-3, and naturally sweet flavour. Our tuna is caught using purse seine nets — a selective method that minimises bycatch and protects dolphins, earning Dolphin Safe and MSC Chain of Custody certifications.
