This Cookie Policy is issued by XYX Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 21 632 303 685), operator of the Oceania Smart Select brand. It explains what cookies and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") we use on oceaniasmartselect.com.au, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, or to make them work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to site owners.

Categories explained

  • Essential — required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your consent choice). Always on; no consent needed.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Off by default; activated only after you click "Accept all".

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not share data with ad networks. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization set to denied at all times.

How to control cookies

  • When you first visited, our cookie banner offered you the choice between "Accept all" and "Essential only".
  • To change your choice, clear this site's storage in your browser (Chrome: ⚙ Settings → Privacy → Site Settings → View Permissions and Data → oceaniasmartselect.com.au → Clear). The banner will reappear on your next visit.
  • You can also block all cookies via your browser settings — but parts of the site may not work as expected.
  • To opt out of Google Analytics tracking on every site, install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

IP address handling

Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We additionally pass anonymize_ip: true as a defence-in-depth measure.
